Product Information
Women who have added avotone to their skin care regimen have reported amazing improvements in the appearance of their skin, including fewer fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin elasticity and an overall younger appearance. In as little as 18 days, avotone's deep penetrating peptide based formula will produce a visible reduction in the actual length, depth, surface area, and rough texture of your existing wrinkles.
When applied to the skin of the neck and face the advanced peptides in avotone help to naturally relax the muscles of the face. As the muscle relaxes, the skin flattens, reducing the appearance of the wrinkles. While you may see results within hours, it can take 14 to 25 days for the effects to take hold. While each application of avotone is temporary, avotone can be applied daily. In fact while the effects of cosmetic injections fade in three to six months. avotone may be used in combination with other cosmetic procedures, including cosmetic injections to lengthen their effects.
Unlike cosmetic injections, avotone may be used anywhere on the skin of the face. But the most common sites are the lines between the eyebrows, squint lines around the corners of the eyes (crows feet) and the horizontal lines on the forehead. With so many wrinkle creams on the market today it can be hard to find the best choice for natural skin care.
Skin Information
Contrary to popular belief, the skin is the largest eliminatory organ of the human body. It exists as a two-way membrane; eliminating toxins via perspiration and absorbing compounds through hair follicles and sebaceous glands (however, not through sweat glands). Per square inch, there are approximately 65 hairs and 100 sebaceous glands. You can think of your skin as a sponge, as it absorbs the various substances that are applied to it.
The most common elements absorbed into the skin include oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, albeit in minimal amounts. The skin remains an important transport system for the body's circulatory system. Thus, it is important to nourish the skin with natural and beneficial ingredients that aid in its healing, regeneration, and protection.
Avotone accomplishes this with the use of is patent pending delivery system Avotate®; employing the beneficial properties of both Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3) and Avocado Oil. This unique formulation lends you protection from environmental stressors, while regaining the skin's luster depleted by the complex aging process.
Causes of Wrinkles
The process of wrinkling is caused by a multitude of internal and external factors. As one ages, the skin undergoes significant and noticeable changes. Skin cells divide more slowly, the dermis begins to thin, fat cells once abundant in childhood and early adulthood retard (abnormal lipid matrix), and the skins ability to repair itself drastically diminishes with age. In addition, the underlying network of collagen (collagen conformation) and elastin (elastin polypeptide degradation) responsible for supporting the skin's many layers loosens and unravels, perpetuating a loss of elasticity.
The subsequent loss of integrity causes the skin to sag. Gravity exacerbates the situation and produces jowls and droopy eyelids. However influential the abovementioned factors may be, the most significant influence towards prematurely aging skin and skin damage remains the exposure to ultraviolet radiation and sunlight (photoaging). In fact, studies indicate that 90% of the symptoms indicative of premature skin aging are the direct result of exposure to UVA or UVB radiation emanating from sunlight or other tanning procedures.
Both UVA and UVBs have been shown to damage the skin, cause wrinkles, lower immunity, increase risk for skin disorders, and promote skin cancers. Others factors thought to hasten the formation of wrinkles include; air pollution, cigarette smoke, rapid weight loss, malnutrition (e.g. eating disorders), and overproduction and release of catecholamines.
How Avotone Works
Avotone Skin Care Products has designed its patent pending proprietary blend Avotate®, which contains the active ingredients Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, also known as Argireline®, as well as Avocado Oil with it's amazing skin protecting properties, to produce a high-performance wrinkle relaxant cream.
Active Ingredients and their Benefical Properties: Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is a non-irritating peptide that reduces the intensity of muscle contractions by decreasing the production of excess neurotransmitters. By reducing the intensity of the muscle contractions, the number of impelling wrinkles which cause the skin to look aged are also reduced.
Avocado Oil is highly rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin D as well as Lecithin, Potassium and Chlorophyll. It has high moisturizing properties and is especially beneficial to rashes, eczema, mature skin, parched skin, and aging skin. Avocado Oil is one of the most highly penetrating oils used for skin care and is an important part of our patent pending delivery system.
But What Does This Mean?
To simplify matters, the SNARE complex is a core of membrane proteins that mediates neuronal exocytosis, or the hyperactivity of the nerves which initiate the action of the facial muscles. Because the basis or mechanism for the formation of facial wrinkles is muscle tension and contraction, destabilizing the SNARE process with a synthetic peptide like acetyl-hexapeptide-3 decreases the formation of facial wrinkles and appearance of aged skin.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 has been shown to regulate the uncontrolled and excessive release of neurotransmitters that excite muscles fibers; thereby relaxing muscular tension and, consequently, eliminating wrinkling of the skin. Moreover, Argireline acts as a wrinkle preventative by inhibiting the release of catecholamines, specifically adrenaline and noradrenaline. This action is critical, as the overproduction of these two catecholamines is known to promote muscular contractions and induce the formation of wrinkles and fine lines in the skin.
Both of these actions may be compared to the action of the popularly used botulinum-A toxin, in certain cosmetic procedures. Once botulinum-A is injected into areas where muscular tension is localized, the toxins begins to degrade the neuronal protein, SNAP-25; again, the chief protein involved in neuronal exocytosis. By destroying neuronal proteins, the toxins inhibit the release of acetylcholine - the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction. The muscle becomes paralyzed as the botulinum toxin blocks the signal that would normally tell a given facial muscle to contract. These paralytic effects of the toxin are reversible with a median duration of 3 to 8 months. Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, Back by Science In Vivo tests were performed using silicon replicas from around the eyes of ten healthy volunteers.
The replicas were obtained at 0, 15, and 30 days of a twice-a-day acetyl-hexapeptide-3 treatment regiment. Final analysis revealed that the severity and depth of wrinkles decreased up to 17% after 15 days of treatment and 27% after 30 days of continued treatment. Scan at 0 Days Scan at 15 Days Scan at 30 Days These controlled studies document Argireline's effectiveness, showing a reduction of wrinkle depth caused by the contraction of facial muscles and excessive catecholamine release.
The Avotate delivery system uses a 10% concentration of Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, the same concentration indicated as being beneficial in these studies. Additional skin benefits as determined by clinical evaluation include: 39% improvement in smoothness of skin 42% improvement in dry skin 45% improvement in overall skin tone.
The Bottom Line
Both Agents, botulinum toxin and acetyl-hexapeptide-3, work to either destroy or inhibit the neuronal protein responsible for the regulation of the uncontrolled and excessive release of neurotransmitters that excite muscle fibers. Though the extent and efficacy of each is continually questioned, one thing remains clear.
Botulinum treatments require repeated injections, Argireline does not. Additionally, injections with this toxin may initiate an immune response as a result of its molecular size, and may warrant the increase in the preparation's concentration to potentiate a response. Finally, injections are extremely expensive . With its inclusion of Argireline, Avotone has answered the consumer's pressing need, to:
- Develop an effective product that remotely resembles and imitates the effectiveness of botulinum toxins,
- Create an advanced mechanism of delivery into the skin (Avotate),
- Reduce the potential for immune reaction,
- Provide costs that are economical,
- Ensure the product is non-toxic and well tolerated by all skin types and complexions.
Avocado Oil
Avotone's most unique ingredient is Avocado Oil. The oil derived from the avocado fruit has certain regenerative and restructuring properties, making it an essential component for keeping your skin moisture-rich and soft. Of all the plants in the botanical kingdom, Avocado is perhaps the most abundant in essential fatty acids and unsaponifiables (plant sterols or sterlins).
These nutrients lend to Avotone's absorbability and spreadability when applied to the skin. Avocado's are equally rich in; lecithin, phytosterols, fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and E, potassium, as well as chlorophyll.
Avocado Absorbtion
Avocado oil has been rigorously studied for its ability to cross the natural skin barrier. When compared to other plant-based oils such as almond, lanolin, olive, and soya bean, avocado oil penetrates the skin more deeply and with far greater effectiveness. As well, avocado has been shown to transport active substances (e.g. acetyl-hexapeptide-3) through the outer epidermis into the dermis of the skin.
This mechanism makes avocado oil a perfect base for transdermal treatments like Avotone, as it is able to carry the added compounds into the deepest, and hardest to reach, target areas of your skin. Avocado Oil's Benefits Although the use of avocado remains largely ignored by many product manufacturers, clinical research has not overlooked avocado's durability as a preventative and regenerative skin care ingredient.
Avocado continues to be one of the most studied compounds for its beneficial impact upon not only the skin, but the health of the entire body. Avocado has been shown to be extremely beneficial for:
- Acne management
- Dermatitis
- Healing lacerations
- UV absorption
- Inhibiting bacterial growth upon the skin
- Regenerating connective skin tissue(s)
Researchers from UCLA's Center for Human Nutrition (California) have indicated that the biological constituents of avocados possess certain healing, anti-bacterial, and anti-wrinkle properties. When applied to the skin, the avocado oil contained in Avotone helps to simulate collagen metabolism and increases the proportion of soluble collagen within the dermis, thereby retarding the visible signs of aging and effectively softening the skin.
Nature's Sun Screen?
Avocado's protective mechanism is thought to result from its absorbability and vitamin E content. Compared to grapes, kiwifruit, peaches, and nectarines, avocados contain the greatest amount of this powerful antioxidant. Vitamin E is thought to decelerate the aging process by inhibiting the effects of free radical damage upon the skin. Furthermore, avocado's unique ability to absorb into the skin lend to its significant UV absorbing properties. In one particular study, avocado oil was compared to oils obtained from the coconut, sesame, almond, persic, peanut, olive, and jojoba plants. Of these, avocado was shown to be the most powerful natural sunscreen.
As excessive sun exposure is recognized as a primary contributor to skin damage and wrinkle formation, using the abundant amounts of avocado oil contained in Avotone may enhance the activity of UV-A and UV-B absorbers. This statement concerns the active constituents of avocado oil and does not imply that Avotone may be used as a replacement for sunblock.
Avocado Safety
Today, avocado oils are used in the highest quality skin care products. Being an all-natural ingredient, avocado compounds also have a remarkable safety record. Thus, problems attributed to cosmetics (i.e. sensitization, photo-toxicity, free radical formation, comedogeincity, etc.) are absent in individuals choosing to implement Avotone into their daily skin care regiment.
Avocado is also a hypo-allergenic substance and contains no sensiters. Finally, its emolliency, moisturizing effect, penetration, stability, and nutrient content eliminates the need for the addition of other ingredients that may be artificial and cause adverse reaction when applied to the skin.

" After using Avotone for about a month, I noticed my wrinkles were shrinking a little. But, a friend commented at lunch how much of a difference she actually noticed and wanted to know what my secret was. I told her that I have been using Avotone Wrinkle Relaxant Face Cream. I didn't realize how much of a distinction it really made, until I started receiving even more comments from my friends and family. Thanks Avotone!"

"I am outside a lot with our horses. After a week of using Avotone my 30 yr old daughter said "Mom your age spots are gone!" I have noticed my facial lines have softened and I am so happy to be using Avotone Face Cream. This year I will turn 60 and I feel so much younger in my face. Thank you again for this wonderful, easy to use product."

"Like most women, I have been concerned about the crow’s feet around my eyes and my wrinkles getting deeper. I have used Vaseline for years, but because it's so oily I could only apply it at night. After using Avotone Wrinkle Relaxant Cream I found that my crow’s feet began to disappear and my wrinkles started to fade. I found that I could also apply it in the morning and still put my make up on. My husband has noticed the change and is now using it himself. Thank you Avotone!"
